At school, ho hum.

I'm not entirely sure if I'm supposed to be in class right now, but until I'm told otherwise (third period), I'm surfing the net.

I thought I'd update this thing for no real good reason, and I think I'll launch into a review of some old game(s) I like.

Covert Action, if I haven't mentioned it earlier, has some of the best concepts I have ever come across in my extensive years of gaming. It's very open ended, and your actions affect the course of the game, plus it's randomly generated every time, opting for LOADS of replayability. The diversity in the game is also top-notch, everything from wire-tapping, breaking into buildings, tailing suspects, and cracking coded messeges, this game covers all the interesting aspects of CIA work.

It's funny though, all the sites I've found about the game online have NO idea how to tail suspects or do anything of the driving nature. I'll try to set it straight.

You pick two cars to tail the suspect with. The suspect is the blue and yellow car, and you must keep an eye on him at all times (Or at least know where he's at). Your cars start out as green, and remain green as long as you go unnoticed. When the suspect becomes suspicious, they first turn red, then they start blinking, at which point he'll take evasive action.
His car will turn gray when you lose sight of him, and it shows his last known position.

Now that I got that out of my system, I hope it attacts someone who is playing the game and is confused by the sketchy guides.

I also hate how games sometimes put the s in parenthesis when they're describing items. You got 1 x potion(s)! For the love of god, you already program in the numbers, why not make the noun dependant on the number? It's not hard at all, and if I was in the gaming industry (as I hope to be), I would definately take those 20 seconds to get rid of that damn parentesis s.

I'd better be on the move, it's about time for my next class.
(Hey, twice in a month has to be a record, right? If not, twice in a week definately is! Okay, twice in under 24 hours! I'm on a roll!)

By the way, go watch arfenhouse.
